Cards for Family

A few weeks ago, my cousin Jeff was in surgery. He went into a seizure and was in a coma for about a week before the decision was made to pull the plug. His services, with full escorts of his military motorcycle gang, will be held this coming Tuesday, the 22nd.

The first card is for my aunt. It is meant to depict the man-made pond at the farm my grandparents used to have. My father's brother, Gordon, and his wife still live there.

The second for Jeff's older brother, Mike. In looking at the pictures my aunt posted on Facebook, I couldn't help but notice that Jeff rode a blue motorcycle. I hadn't known that when I made the card!! The next for his younger sister, Julie, and the other for his kids. I feel like the 2nd motorcycle card came out better overall. Also, the stamp ghosted behind the one for the kids is a multi heart design with the words "I love you" all through the center. I've had that one for a number of years now, and finally used it in the most poignant way possible.
