Dwell #5 -- The Plot Thickens

Shortly after 2 p.m. on a "rain-ish"* Monday afternoon in New Hampshire. (Y'know, as opposed to a rainy night in Georgia??) LOL Anyway, last week's lack of news is now an abundance of Praise!!

First of all, Mike's regular doctor came into the office early because the only way he could get to and from his appointment was by a bus route that goes up and back only once a day. So, although his scheduled time was supposed to be late afternoon, he went in the morning, not only to guarantee he could get there, but also to guarantee that he wouldn't miss the later run by his appointment going too late. Then she told him that the scans he had had done the other week showed a polyp on his spinal cord. He has a consultation for surgery on the 18th!! Now, obviously this doesn't mean the surgery will…

Dwell #4 -- You Never Walk Alone

Just after 4 p.m. on this rainy Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, Mike has seen his regular doctor again. She authorized more of the pain/sleep meds for during the day since his pain is constant. Also, he's going to be on some kind injection schedule for his diabetes and weight loss. They want him to consult about the injections, but he was a Medic in the Army, so he doesn't need help with it.

No other current…

Dwell # 3-- All There

Just before 3 p.m. on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The smoke from the Canadian wild fires seems to have taken a different route today, so Praise God!! At the same time, continued prayers for all they are going through up and over there.

As it turned out, Jasmine and Bryan did not make it down again yesterday. But that's okay, it's been nice seeing her twice in the past 2 months as it is. Continued prayers that they can find a place closer to Rockland, as that hasn't happened yet.

Meanwhile, my oldest, Carissa, goes on her Girls' Trip with a couple of friends early tomorrow morning. They are going to spend the week in the Dominican Republic!! (I wish I could go!!) But, seriously, she deserves this time away to just have fun and relax on the beach. It's her friend's daughter's birthday, and they wanted to do something…
